Cyber Crime Scenarios

In the first scenario, there is mention of a young man hacking into his school's network and changing grades. This is quite severe. He took teachers' passwords, broke into the school's network, changed grades, and installed malware. With this he could easily change other students' grades and possibly get them in trouble as accomplices.

In the second scenario a hacker sends malware through instant messages. By doing this the hacker is sending the virus through to other people without their knowledge. By using a site that others normally think is safe, they have no way of preventing the invasion of their privacy.

In the third scenario an employee of a company cheats the system to make himself extra money. This person's actions could cause the company to lose the trust of customers. The other workers could be losing serious money or could be under suspicion if this one employee was capable of this.
